ACT Schools are back to Camp!

Writer: Outdoors NSW & ACTOutdoors NSW & ACT

Following some advice from the ACT Government announced this morning, ACT has announced the resumption of school camps from next week.

• Interstate and overnight excursions involving individual classes, year groups or school sports groups are allowed. Interstate excursions must be within a 4-hour drive of the ACT. Overnight excursions are limited to two nights. COVID Safety Plans must be in place and a risk assessment must be uploaded to the Student Administration System (SAS) prior to any overnight or interstate excursion.

Outdoors NSW & ACT would like to thank the support of the ACT Education Directorate for their help in advocating for our industry with ACT Health and also the work of the Shadow Ministry in the ACT Legislative Assembly, in particular, Nicole Lawder and her colleagues.
