Merimbula, NSW Chosen as Host Location for MTB Symposium 2024
Outdoors NSW & ACT is thrilled to announce that the picturesque coastal town of Merimbula, NSW, has been selected as the host location for the highly anticipated MTB Symposium 2024.
Following careful consideration and deliberation, Merimbula emerged as the ideal setting for this prestigious event, which promises to bring together mountain biking enthusiasts, industry leaders, and stakeholders from across Australia and also interest from our colleagues in international locations.
The decision to choose Merimbula as the host location was not taken lightly, as it came after a rigorous evaluation process that weighed the merits of several potential venues across the ACT and NSW.
However, the overwhelming support and enthusiasm from the local community of Merimbula ultimately tipped the scales in its favour.

The MTB Symposium is scheduled to be a two-day event, 25/26 October 2024, taking place on Friday and Saturday to ensure maximum participation from the volunteer network that forms a backbone to the MTB community. Attendees can look forward to engaging discussions and workshops that will address the increasing pressures and opportunities within the mountain biking industry. By harnessing collective knowledge and expertise, the symposium aims to pave the way for a brighter future for MTB in the region and beyond.
