Following last week's Outdoors NSW & ACT (ONSWACT) Board Meeting, we pleased to advise of formal commencement of two new sub-committees and the announcement of the formation of a new sub-committee.
Sub-committee's are a strategic investment in time by the organisation to ensure we have effective engagement, knowledge, insights and can work with key stakeholders to deliver what is needed to get more of our community active and healthy. Since their inception we have subcommittee's that focus on Mountain Biking, Trail Bike Riding, Risk Management and Climate Change. We are now pleased to have some dedicated members participating in a First Nations Sub-Committee and the Alpine Back Country Sub-Committee. Congratulations to those members who were successful in their nomination and we look forward to working with you.
We are also pleased to announce that ONSWACT has endorsed a new sub-committee focused on adventure guides and their needs and development, namely the Adventure Guides Sub-Committee.
Expressions of interest are now open for people wishing to nominate to join this sub-committee. Nominees need to be members of Outdoors NSW & ACT, submit a covering letter that outlines what they can contribute to the sub-committee and enclose their resume. Nominations can apply through this link and need to be received before 30 October 2022.
