The Outdoor NSW & ACT IR & RM Sub-Committee was formed in 2020 with the objective to; 

1. Recognise the contribution that Trail Bike activities provide individuals and regional economies

2. Recognise the challenges of participation and work with stakeholders to lessen barriers and create harmony with other outdoor pursuits

3. Investigate opportunities to help support a sustainable approach to participation

DID YOU KNOW WE SUPPORT ORGANISATIONS THAT HAVE HAD GONE THROUGH TRAUMA ASSOCIATED WITH OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES?

Stage 1

The Committee offers any Outdoor provider or organisation the opportunity to support in the initial phase of shock and reactions associated with the trauma.

Stage 2

The Committee are also able to assist in reviewing operational procedures within the organisation or activity to increase risk mitigation or improved operations.

Stage 3

The Committee also look at assisting with ways that future trauma can be prevented by others in the industry or sector, which may include reviewing national standards.
